Can you fill the whole plant schedule, not just the trees?
Everything but annuals. One list covers the trees, shrubs, grasses, perennials, groundcover, and vines, and one quote comes back for all of it.
What if a size I need is sold out?
The quote proposes a swap, such as the next size up or a close match, with its price. Nothing's ordered until you say yes.
My plant isn't on this page. Can you get it?
Send the list anyway. This page shows the biggest trees and every plant in the app, and we source well beyond them. If something can't be found, the quote says so and suggests a match.
Do you deliver to the job site?
Yes. We deliver B&B trees and container stock to job sites in Davidson, Williamson, Rutherford, Sumner, and Wilson counties, and delivery is included in the price.
Can I see prices before I send a list?
Yes, for the plants in the Arboras app. It shows today's price for every plant and size it carries, and the price you see is the price you pay.
What does B&B mean?
Balled and burlapped. The tree is grown in the field, then dug with its root ball wrapped in burlap, often inside a wire basket (W.B. on some lists). The biggest sizes are almost always B&B.
What is caliper?
The trunk's diameter, which is how shade trees are sold. The nursery standard (ANSI Z60.1) measures it 6" above the ground on trees up to 4", and 12" above the ground on bigger ones.
What do container sizes like #3 mean?
They're trade pot classes, numbered by roughly how many gallons the pot holds. In the app, most shrubs come in #3 to #7, and container trees in #15 to #45.
